IT went viral for being the “perfect beach bag” but there’s an even more exciting update on Primark’s straw bucket bag.

Shoppers are finding the £10 fashion accessory has been slashed to just £1 in store.

The Straw Bucket Bag is made from 100% paper and has tan leather straps and detailing to give it a stylish edge.

Primark fans were raving about the accessory when it was released a few months ago - and they’re raving even more now.

Shopper Paige Nash took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to share that she found it in her local store for a whopping 90% cheaper.

People dubbed the handbag “gorgeous” and were envious of her being in the “right place at the right time” to nab it.

Primark bosses have previously gushed that the bag “screams summer”.

“Nothing screams summer more than a woven bag, which is why you need to add this straw bucket bag to your collection,” they said.

“Working as both a beach bag and everyday accessory, the woven detailing gives it rustic charm.

“While the neutral tones mean it can easily be incorporated into your daily style.

“Thanks to its extra large size and spacious bucket design, it has ample room to fit all your essentials so that you never have to be without.

“It doesn't get much better than that!”

However, Paige also noted that she managed to pick up a stylish kitchen storage jar for a cool £5 in the retailer’s sale.

Planning to use it as a biscuit jar, she revealed that the original price was £9.

Other Primark shoppers have taken to the popular Facebook group to share their recent bargains as the retailer slashes prices across its homeware section.

These include Marvel fleece hooded throws for boys down to £7 from £16, bucket hats for £3.50 and Barbie-esque heels for £3.

Simialrly, some parents were already filling Santa sacks thanks to huge markdowns on toys at The Entertainer.

One mum even managed to get Christmas day sorted for £36 by taking advantage of summer sales.
